  • Angel EP by Angel Band (Denver, CO)
  • it's a sunny morning in Los Angeles, CA. You got you're mind set on making it from Eagle Rock to Downtown LA so you can watch the hometown Los Angeles Sparks take on the Seattle Storm for an early afternoon game at the Staples Center, a venue that has seen many many crucial events in basketball & hockey history. (yes i know it's the Crypto.Com Arena now, start your own neocities & call it whatever you want i dont care). Though this arena has seen a lot of history through the years, i would venture to say this was the first time someone listened to the Angel Band's new ep, 'Angel EP' on the way there. The Denver, Colorado group (who i saw as a 3 piece w a drum machine in september & it was very sick), despite being from the Rockies, has somehow figured out how to write the perfect songs to listen to on a sunny Southern California day.

  • bug bath "world of fools" is such a great record, can not recommend enough for fans of loud guitars, good melodies, & just good times. reno, nv is such a great place.
  • water shrew trio "follow the lichen into the bush" from portland, or, some great ambient drone.
  • matty terrones "for listening through headphones" matty is a wonderful person from san diego, ca making some great ambient drone
